Bertrand Loy, COO, to Succeed Gideon Argov as CEO of Entegris

BILLERICA, Mass., October 24, 2012 - Entegris, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTG) today announced that Bertrand Loy, currently chief operating officer will succeed Gideon Argov as president and CEO as part of a management succession and transition plan. On November 1, 2012, Bertrand Loy was promoted to president and elected to the Entegris Board of Directors and will assume the position of chief executive officer effective November 27, 2012.

Paul Olson, Entegris' chairman of the board, said "The board has been developing a robust succession process with Gideon and Bertrand over the past two years. Mr. Loy has been the Chief Operating Officer for Entegris since July 2008. Prior to that, he was the Chief Administrative Officer for Entegris from August 2005 to July 2008, and was the Chief Financial Officer of Mykrolis from January 2001 until the 2005 Merger with Entegris. From 1995 to April 1999, Mr. Loy served as the Division Controller for Millipore's Laboratory Water Division before acting as the Chief Information Officer for Millipore until December 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Loy was with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis). Mr. Loy serves as a director of BTU International, Inc. and is a member of the SEMI North America Advisory Board (NAAB). He holds a master's in business administration (MBA) from ESSEC, France.
